What's good is that the cable is 100% copper cable, not cheesy copper-clad aluminum like all jumper cables sold in auto parts stores and hardware stores. CCA conducts only 60% of the amperage that copper does, and has other problems as well. CCA is lighter in weight, but is less flexible, more prone to breakage, and corrodes.
What's bad is that the jaws are steel, not copper. Steel conducts only one-seventh of the amperage that copper does.
Excellent quality
Just recenty I took my wifes vehicle to a car wash where after I completed cleaning it the vehicle would not start. I reach out to a gentlemen next to me ask for help who then asked if I had a set of cables. Which of course I did as I enusred my wife has a small road side hazard kit, howeve when I retrieved the cables I found the plastic coating the wires has dry rotted and was falling to pieces as I attemtped to simply handle them. After receiving these battery mart set I could clearly see the diffecence in quality and know they will be there when I need them. Just one more reason to buy qualit American made products which unfortunately seems to be in decline so I want to thank Battery Mart for continuing to do so.

Good solid copper heavy duty cables - not the cheap copper coated aluminum cables that do not supply enough power for starting.
